Mother's Day

Мета: продемонструвати знання учнів з англійської мови, здобуті за час навчання,
активізувати вживання лексики у мовленні;
розвивати мовленнєві здібності, навички та вміння працювати в команді, для
організації та проведення свята;
підсилити інтерес учнів до вивчення англійської мови.

Presnter 1. Good morning, dear guests, mothers, teachers and pupils!
Presenter 2. We are very glad to see you here today! Today we celebrate Mother’s Day. We wish you all to be happy and merry all year.
Presenter 1. We'd like to tell you the reason of our meeting.
Presenter 2. We have a tradition of celebrating  Mother’s Day. It is always on the second Sunday of May. It is a holiday of all women. On this day people visit their mothers, grandmothers and give them small presents or flowers.
Presenter 1. On his day mothers usually have little work or no work at all, because everyone in the family tries to make a day off for their mothers and grandmothers.
Presenter 1. So we decided to make this day a holiday for you, our dear. Let's start
with fun.
Presenter 2. Dear children, do you know any poems about mothers?

That is your mother.

There are so many things to do
when all work must be done.
Presenter 1. It is very warm here.
Presenter 2. It is so because all our mothers have come to our holiday. They brought
warmth and love with them.

Two, two, two — I love my mummy too!
Three, three, three — my mummy loves me.
Four, four, four — I love her more and more.
I count from one — I love the sun.

Thumbelina. I cannot do anything. I am very little. But what about you? What do you do for your mothers? Do you help your grandmothers?

That can help you a lot.

On purpose or not.
